How many adolescent patients has the doctor weaned out of the spinecor brace?

As a healthcare professional I have been fitting the Spinecor brace full time for the past 6 years. In that time I have weaned dozens of adolescents successfully from their scoliosis brace. In my opinion this experience is invaluable, as most cases do not follow a predestined timetable as to when they can be safely weaned from spinecor, as is usually the case with rigid spinal braces. Instead, the spinecor patient must be carefully coached to a successful end to treatment. Unlike a rigid brace, the Spinecor brace works by retraining muscle activation strategies while the patient is weight bearing. This makes spinecor unique in that it does not imobilize the scoliosis curvature in hopes of holding it where it is, but it actually can reduce the scoliosis curvature permanently during the growth phase, and functionally reduce the curvature in adults by postural reeducation and awareness. If your doctor has little or no experience in the weaning process, you or your child may be weaned too early from spinecor therefore unduing many of the benefits which could become stable if weaned appropriately.
